On January 9, the final week before departure began.
And this OAEP journey had already become a challenge—long before the mountain.
In the classroom, it’s not just about gear and routes,
but the quiet inner struggle:
“Am I really able to get through this?”
For first-time G10 students, teachers begin with mindset—
helping them voice their fears, unpack the unknown,
and gradually understand the environment, weather, and risks ahead.
For experienced G11 students, the role shifts.
They are guided to research conditions, plan equipment and food,
and make decisions for their team under real constraints.
Before stepping onto the trail,
the adventure has already begun.
Not on departure day,
but in the moment they choose to move forward—despite hesitation.
