The Terry Fox Run is a global charity event held annually in more than 60 countries, uniting millions of people in the fight against cancer.

It commemorates Terry Fox, a young Canadian who lost his right leg to bone cancer and courageously set out to run across Canada with a prosthetic leg to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. Though he passed away before completing his journey, his vision of a world without cancer has inspired generations and raised more than 2 billion dollars worldwide.

The Terry Fox Run is not about speed, distance, or competition. It is about participation, community, and carrying forward Terry’s legacy of hope and perseverance. Everyone is welcome to join, in any way they can—running, walking, bringing family, or simply showing support.

In 2025, TCS is proud to host the Terry Fox Run × TCS Family Day at Linkou Community Sports Park. This year’s event goes beyond the run: it combines the charity run with a Charity Market of 40+ creative and food stalls and a Family Festival filled with joy, learning, and togetherness. All proceeds and donations will support cancer research through the Formosa Cancer Foundation.
