After four weeks of inquiry-based scientific exploration, TCS G7-G9 students concluded their project-based learning journey with a final showcase on May 16. From observing everyday life and asking questions, to designing experiments, creating hand-written posters, and presenting their findings, this was a truly hands-on and minds-on experience.
Rooted in the spirit of Jena education, the process emphasized not only the acquisition of knowledge, but also the value of collaboration and active participation. Each group chose their own topic, planned their research independently, and practised critical thinking and problem-solving through real-world challenges.
Classrooms turned into buzzing workspaces in the morning, —filled with research, writing, and rehearsing, —and into presentation stages in the afternoon, where students confidently shared their learning journey.
Projects explored both science and daily life: from comparing French fries, testing how many times paper can be folded, to how temperature and humidity affect the flavour of instant noodles. Every group demonstrated creativity and scientific spirit, and awards were given for both innovation and presentation—celebrating every young researcher’s courage to explore and grow.
