On this day, our G7, G8, and G9 students set out for Guanyin Mountain—
three routes, three learning tasks.
Whether bird-watching, exploring military heritage, or practising kindness through the tea-offering activity,students learned about themselves and one another through real-world experiences.
G7 observed the wind, the sky, and the rhythm of nature;
G8 moved through historic military sites, working as a team and reflecting on what they would choose to protect;
G9 explored gratitude, kindness, and emotional awareness through their tea-sharing task.
Along the way, there was fatigue, laughter, and moments of waiting for each other.
One group even changed their return route when a classmate’s leg began to hurt—
choosing a safer path so everyone could come down together.
This is TCS Outdoor Education: bringing learning back to the land,
and letting growth unfold in real, authentic moments.
Through support and understanding, our students grew softer in heart—and stronger in courage.
