【TCS Friday Experiential Learning｜G8 & G9 Farm Day Wen Sun Farm Highlights】

TCS G8 & G9 students visited Wen Sun Farm for our first collaboration, exploring tea culture, ecology, and hands-on learning. Students began with Tea Jelly DIY and learned about tea varieties, harvesting, and the cultural roots behind tea. They then joined an ecological tour through ponds, trails, and orchards to observe plants and insects while learning about ecosystems and conservation.
The barbecue lunch was both lively and challenging—some groups lit their fire easily, while others fanned tirelessly and relied on toast for energy as they worked to keep the charcoal going.
In the afternoon, students put on bamboo hats and carried small tea baskets as they stepped into the tea fields for a hands-on tea-picking experience, learning the rhythm behind harvesting fresh leaves.
