To celebrate International Women’s Week, TCS hosted an inspiring panel featuring two industry experts who are making waves at the intersection of technology, design, and social impact.
We were honoured to welcome Ms. Sandra Lin (Service Designer at Designit Tokyo, Teach for Taiwan) and Ms. Ema Huang (Project Manager at Open Culture Foundation), who shared their insights on driving meaningful change through innovation and advocacy.
💬 "Design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about creating human-centered innovations that truly make a difference." – Ms. Sandra
As an industrial designer, Ms. Sandra discussed how service design bridges technology, strategy, and social impact. She emphasized the power of intentional design choices in shaping inclusive and equitable spaces in education, work, and society.
💬 "Advocating for digital rights, gender equity, and healthcare access is about making sure no one is left behind in the future we are building." – Ms. Ema With a background in social policy, Ms. Ema brought a compelling perspective on global digital rights and social impact initiatives. Through real-world stories of migrants, women, and underserved communities, she highlighted how policy and technology drive real change.
✨ Our Student’s Feedback: “I really liked the panel they gave. It was something I am interested in and it gave me a chance to realize how there are still stigmas in the society against Asian people and women”
